For this section we collect your name and your email address (should you opt to provide it during the checkout process). The organization interface requests information that allows us to contact you should we have any questions. The volunteer interface does request some contact information in order for the event organizers to be able to contact you.

The Way We Use Information

We request limited contact information in the organizational interface so that we may contact you if we have questions about your account. The information collected in the volunteer interface is not used by YourVolunteers and Primary Key Technologies, Inc. for any purpose other than to provide contact information to the event organizers. HOWEVER, we are not able to certify that the event organizers for those events which you are a volunteer will not use your personal information for reasons other than to contact you for event-related purposes. Please contact the event organizers to obtain their Privacy Policies.

All personal information is encrypted in our databases and all tranmissions of personal information are only done over SSL connections.

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
