YourVolunteers Will Save You TimeMost volunteers will register themselves; therefore you won't be inputting the information from paper forms into a software program or a spreadsheet. Also, scheduling conflicts are prevented so you won't be digging through piles of paper to figure out who is available or who might be interested in a task.
YourVolunteers is SecureAll volunteer information is encrypted before it is stored in our databases; therefore hackers would have a really difficult time accessing this information should they somehow get their hands on the data. Also, all volunteer information and login information is only transmitted securely over SSL pages.
YourVolunteers is Easy to UseThere are a lot of features to our system, but instructional videos guide you through each of these. On the volunteer side, they are given a Schedule Wizard making it easy to build a schedule for the event.
YourVolunteers Makes It Easy to CommunicateSome of the best volunteers do not have email and some are not willing to provide their email addresses. Besides having the ability to email volunteer schedules to those volunteers who have provided their address, our system also has a built in messaging system, and provides a form for volunteers to contact event organizers. Rather than depending on you, volunteers will be using our system to check their schedules and to make changes should their availabilities change. Also, our system makes it easy to add YouTube videos, Flickr photo streams and Twitter timelines if you utilize these free services.
System RequirementsYourVolunteers is an entirely web-based application. However, we do utilize Microsoft Silverlight which is most likely already installed on your computer (e.g. if you stream movies from that really big DVD by mail site, you're using Silverlight). If not, you'll get a little icon asking you to install it for free. Please note, non-Intel Apple computers may not be able to install Silverlight. You can test whether or not you have it by going to our Silverlight screenshot page.
